Dan is a graduate of McMaster University with a BCOM with a specialty in marketing. He has been involved in the converting dustry for the past 33 years building knowledge and expertise in the use of substrates for barrier and convenience applications.
Dan had the opportunity to broaden his experience by spending 6 years in Europe working for Rhone-Poulenc and then TORAY in France and TORAY in the US before rejoining Terphane. He has developed many products using PET film as the base to expand its use in demanding barrier applications utilizing co-extrusion, coating and metallizing technology. Dan joined Davis-Standard in 2017 as Vice President for Converting Systems to utilize his knowledge in the development of extrusion and coating equipment. Dan and his wife Christine reside in Livonia, NY.
