The Lithium polymer battery is used in mobile, electric vehicle and ESS(Energy Storage System). This battery have polymer electrolyte and pouch type packaging so it can be made various design. The demand of lithium polymer battery is increasing due to design freedom, safety and light weight. The aluminum pouch film is packaging material of lithium polymer battery. They are composed of metal and polymer films and each film is laminated via adhesives. We developed the Roll-to-Roll dry lamination system using direct gravure coater. Roll-to-Roll dry lamination is based on printed electronics technology and it has simple and continuous process. We founded optimal process conditions for the aluminum pouch with stable properties. As a result, the pouch film have the stable properties with adhesive strength and electrolyte resistance of 10N/15mm or more.
